Therapy is an invitation. An invitation to look honestly at your story, reconnect the parts of yourself that have gone quiet, and discover transformative change. In individual therapy, you and I will work one-on-one in a confidential, compassionate space to explore what's getting in the way and map a path through it.
Areas I work with include past trauma and abuse, family of origin dynamics, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and the negative self-messages that drive more than you realize.

EMDR is one of the most well-researched approaches to trauma treatment available today. Developed by Dr. Francine Shapiro and validated by over 20 randomized controlled trials, it's endorsed by SAMHSA and included in the National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices.
Here's what it does: it helps your brain do what it was already designed to do — process and store difficult memories so they stop running your present. Using bilateral stimulation (like eye movements), EMDR activates both hemispheres of the brain to reprocess stuck traumatic memories, shifting the negative beliefs and body sensations that have kept you carrying the weight of the past into the present.
I use EMDR to address a wide range of experiences, including childhood sexual abuse, neglect, bullying, phobias, grief and loss, sexual dysfunction, negative self-messages, and performance challenges.
There is no better explanation than from EMDRIA (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing International Association).

Accelerated Resolution Therapy is an evidence-based trauma therapy utilized to help process emotionally disturbing memories. Each ART session is 90 minutes to 2 hours, involving rapid eye movement and strategic guiding by your therapist. Unlike other somatic-based therapies, ART targets the visual memories associated with the identified trauma, helping you directly address the cause of your pain.
Depending on the intensity/complexity/ length of the trauma, you will have space and time to process what happened. If several sessions of ART are needed, intensive counseling gives you space and time to address the source of pain directly. This direct approach offers you space to find healing and often provides a new perspective on what happened. After completing ART, it is normal to feel emotional relief and to experience positive imagery newly established with the memories you addressed.

Sexuality is one of the most vulnerable areas of human experience — and one of the most neglected in clinical training. I take that seriously. As a Certified Sex Therapist with 150+ hours of graduate-level sex therapy training and 200 hours of clinical supervision.
Sex therapy begins with a thorough sexual assessment to identify the contributing and maintaining factors to your sexual challenges. From there, I develop a recommended process tailored specifically to your needs and goals. My approach is bio-psycho-social-spiritual — meaning I attend to the physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual roots of sexual difficulty, and I collaborate with medical professionals when appropriate.
I work with individuals and couples navigating issues such as:
Low sexual desire or desire discrepancy
Challenges initiating sex
Erectile dysfunction
Premature ejaculation
Inability to orgasm
Vaginismus or Genito-Pelvic Pain/Penetration Disorder
Female sexual pain
Infertility
Postpartum sexual adjustment
Past sexual abuse
Affair recovery

Every relationship carries the weight of two full histories. Relationship therapy creates space to look honestly at both — at the individual wounds, the relational patterns, and the places where the two have collided. My approach is holistic and multifaceted: we address what's present and active in your relationship while also exploring how past experiences have shaped the dynamic you're in now.
I work with couples navigating communication breakdowns, affair recovery, sexual challenges, conflict, intimacy and connection issues, the impact of trauma on the relationship, and more. The goal is lasting change — not just better language for the same old cycles.
