Stories matter. They’re how we make sense of the world, informing the questions we still need to wrestle with and the decisions we must act upon. They shape our perceptions of ourselves and others. And they have the capacity to impact the trajectory of our lives. Our stories have immeasurable power. And telling our stories is the beginning of connection. It’s how we become known to one another.

So here’s a snippet of mine: I’m an East Texas native who’s landed in the big city of Dallas. Growing up, I was the little girl raising her hand to ask another question beginning with, “But what about…?” My story has always been filled with more questions than answers, and I’ve grown to find so much contentment in that. Questions, even those whose answers may be unknown, keep us rooted in curiosity and propel us toward compassion. If you met me today, you’d quickly learn I’m a business owner, licensed therapist, leadership and relationship coach,wife, and mom. But you’d also discover I’m a friend, part-time caretaker, fair-play advocate, question-asker, and deep-feeling internal processor. I’m married to a physician and mom to two beautiful, bold little girls. Mostly, I’m interested in holding space for people to recognize and affirm their inherent dignity while guiding them to use their creative strengths to live more meaningful lives. Simply put, I want to help you grow.
